In this McKesson job the McKesson Consultant will implement Horizon Laboratory. The McKesson Consultant will utilize implementation tools and methodologies under the direction of a Clinical Program Manager. The McKesson Consultant will be working closely with vendors, hospital ancillary department managers, client corporate offices and team members to define requirements and analyze approach. The McKesson Consultant in this McKesson job will translate operational clinical needs into system terms. The McKesson Consultant will document process and procedures. The McKesson Consultant will provide user training. The McKesson Consultant in this McKesson job will act as the primary contact for application design and testing issues. The McKesson Consultant in this McKesson job will assist client System Manager in developing routing operations cycle. The McKesson Consultant in this McKesson job will assist the team in developing, monitoring and managing application support and operational implementation work plans. The McKesson Consultant in this McKesson job will coordinate with the appropriate members of the Project Team in establishment of system and application security. The McKesson Consultant in this McKesson job will provide support for testing, training, implementation, pre/post GO LIVE activities, and conversion activities.

MCKESSON JOB - McKesson Consultant:

The McKesson Consultant in this McKesson job will acknowledge OPAS/Remedy tickets and follow-up with the client in a timely fashion. The McKesson Consultant in this McKesson job will follow-up communication back to the facility with troubleshooting results and resolution. The McKesson Consultant in this McKesson job will document issues, troubleshooting steps and resolutions in OPAS/Remedy in a timely fashion. The McKesson Consultant in this McKesson job will perform routine maintenance and system checks. The McKesson Consultant will escalate issues, which one cannot resolve, to appropriate party. The McKesson Consultant in this McKesson job will document issues and resolutions for knowledge database. The McKesson Consultantin this McKesson job will test upgrades and patches prior to rollout to facilities. The McKesson Consultant in this McKesson job will provide backup support for other team members and require to be on call rotation. The McKesson Consultant in this McKesson job will develop and provide training materials. The McKesson Consultant in this McKesson job will be required to work extended hours on a routine basis. The McKesson Consultant in this McKesson job will assist in capitalizing on clinical business development opportunities with both current and potential customers. The McKesson Consultant in this McKesson job identifies, analyzes, and evaluates alternative design solutions. The McKesson Consultant must have knowledge of HIPAA, JCAHO, DOH, CAP, AABB, FDA, other regulatory agency standards and requirements, and medical terminology.
